Your weekly Rotary minute - 20090812

Last week we had our first Club Assembly. We had brief but informative presentations from Dawn on her plans for our club and the Rotary foundation. We also got an update from from Norm on membership and some of the strategies adopted last year that we hope to enhance and continue this year.

This week we are supposed to have a classification presentation from one of our new members Donna Alexander. Please come and learn what makes drives Donna, both professionally and personally. These classification talks are important as we welcome our new members into the Rotary community and get to know them better.

ANNUAL REGATTA

Last week we had the annual Regatta and as promised the weather was fantastic.
A wonderful time was had by all. After the spending time out in the bay we then proceeded to Charlie's house and was treated to a smorgasborg of treats, most of which were prepared by Chef Minton. Look out Emeril.... :)
