The Rotary Club Dictionary Project

Last week Union Rotary donated 655 dictionaries to every third grade student in the township of Union. The Rotary Club Dictionary Project, whose goal is to improve the reading ability and comprehension across the U.S, has distributed over 12 million dictionaries to students since 1992.  Rotary is the world’s oldest and largest service organization of its kind that participates in community service projects, locally, nationally and internationally. There are over one million members with over 33,000 clubs in more than 200 countries. Those interested in learning more about the Rotary Club of Union can visit www.unionrotary.org
